Imagine a faraway culture,

an ancient palace,

smell its rich history.

But don’t be bounded by it.

Embrace its vivid colors,

sophisticated forms.

Circles and squares,

red, green, blue and gold,

they are all universal,

while they are so unique with a special meaning.

This is how I want to paint my own country,

my mother culture,

my origin,

by imagining,

by dreaming,

by fantasying,

by giving it a whole new look.

The most beautiful place lies in our head…
